Synopsis

The story follows a depressed and broken Richard Grayson struggling to deal with the death of Bruce Wayne. He grapples with the matter of his identity. Grayson ultimately is inspired to take up the mantle of Batman, after the ailing Alfred is murdered by Scarecrow. Grayson faces old and new enemies, and makes new allies, as he learns what it means to be Batman.

Dr. Arkham takes on the alias of one of his patients as a means of scaring them and keeping order in the Arkham Asylum. But the more he wears the mask, he starts to actually believe he is the mobster known as the Black Mask.
