Scrat is the iconic main character and the mascot of the Ice Age franchise, being a major character in the five films, and also the protagonist of his own short films Gone Nutty, No Time For Nuts, Scrat's Continental Crack-up and Cosmic Scrat-tastrophe, and a cameo character in Sid's short, Surviving Sid. He is also the protagonist of the videogames Ice Age: The Meltdown and of the 2019 Ice Age: Scrat' s Nutty Adventure. He is set to return in the 2022 Disney+ series Ice Age: Scrat Tales. He is an acorn-obsessed saber-toothed squirrel.
