You think Starline inserting cybernetics into those poor children is cruel? Well, how about hypnotizing him, or not letting them see each other until he became the Kitsunami we know! Both were secluded in separate rooms with little food to eat, just drops of water to drink per month, and hypnotizing Kit into practically being Surge's slave for months until it got into his system! Seeing the footage of the tortures and experimentations fuels Kit's fear of Starline, after all the mental abuse he was given by Starline while Surge was praised. (WHOEVER HATES STARLINE FOR THIS, COMMENT BELOW.)
