After the whole scene where everyone says goodbye to Silver, Venice and Blaze (until they meet again), there is a time skip between then and then in the future where we now see Sonic had finished telling the entire Dawnverse to his children. As Knuckles, Tails, Sonia, Cream and their kids come to visit Sonic and Amy's house, Sonic looms at the feather he has and says "I hope I made you proud." Then the clouds formed into a familiar face, and Sonic heard a heavenly but familiar voice as the sun shines on his fur. The voice said "I am proud . . . my dear Sonic."
