Synopsis

After a heartbreaking defeat, Sonic and the Resistance must look to unlikely allies for aid: the Babylon Rogues, the Hooligans, even Eggman himself! Sonic desperately saves Amy and was almost destroyed doing it, but Silver’s team came from the future to save them. After their secret base was found, thanks to a secret traitor, Sonic leads the Resistance for one final stand against Neo MEtal Sonic. At the end of this, Sonic and his friends will have to face Metal Sonic’s final and most powerful form of all: Metal Overlord!!!!!

Description of E-102 Gamma (Former Badnik turned to ally):

Gamma is one of the earliest in the E-100 series of Badniks, even before Omega, but he was the only one who was saddened to see Mobians' lives at stake and the grief that Sonic and the Resistance endured. He watched Longclaw died, and how much she meant to Sonic. He watched Omega die and how much he meant to Shadow and Rouge. He saw Emerl die and how much he meant to everyone. So, Gamma gave up on his duties and joined the good side before the final battle. In fact, he gets to fight as Team Dark's replacement for Omega who may be bigger, but Gamma is close to being just as powerful.
