In the future, the world was destroyed by the fiery monster known as Iblis, its master unknown. The mysterious Mephiles has chosen Silver, a hedgehog with telekinetic abilities, to go back in time (the time of Sonic) and destroy the Iblis Trigger. Main problem, Silver was told by Mephiles that Sonic is the Iblis Trigger!!! But eventually, Sonic and his friends help him find out that Iblis was really Mephiles' pet, and that Mephiles lied to Silver! Now the team, with Silver, must travel through different points in time to defeat Mephiles before he finds Iblis in our time and release him to destroy Mobius!
