Robotnik has awakened the ultimate lifeform, created by his own grandfather Gerald, so he could have him destroy Sonic and conquer Mobius once and for all. This might as well be his deadliest plot yet. Sonic and his friends investigate sightings of a mysterious hedgehog until they finally see that the hedgehog they're looking for is actually Robotnik's ultimate lifeform: Shadow the Hedgehog. Description of Second Post Credit scene (The purple one):

In a different dimension, there is a purple female cat running from someone who looks like Eggman but looks cooler and has more advanced tech and weaponry. He's yelling at the cat to give up the Sol Emeralds and she'll live, but then we finally see the female cat's face. Her name was Blaze, princess of the Sol Empire. She tells the Robotnik copycat, called Eggman Nega, that she HAS to guard the Sol Emeralds at all costs. Suddenly, there was a rip in time and space, sending the two, and the Sol Emeralds, spiraling into Sonic's dimension! When the cat woke up, she realizes that she's in another world.
