Amy has been one of Sonic's main supporters ever since they met on Little Planet. When she volunteered to find one of the Chaos Emeralds, she found it and thought Sonic was already there. But when she got a good look, it was Shadow! Robotnik came and captured Amy to imprison her on Prison Island, the launch point to where they could go to the ARK and unleash the Eclipse Cannon.
