The reason Mammoth Mogul wanted Silver to kill Sonic, whose family he hated so much, was because . . . Sonic was Silver's ancestor! All of Silver's life, he's been training Silver to kill his ancestor, meaning Silver wouldn't be born! He's been trained to kill himself for his whole life, and he didn't know it!!! Mammoth Mogul even killed Silver's parents to begin that training!!! This gives Silver an anger he never knew or could control.
