When a series of murders begin to occur in Hell's Kitchen, Matt's nights as Daredevil become even busier. At the same time, "Nelson & Murdock" receives its new client, Karen Page, who is being accused of a murder she didn't commit. While preparing her defense, the three face a conspiracy involving not only Karen's case, but organized crime and even the recent deaths in Hell's Kitchen. This all leads to an unknown figure, known only by his codename, Kingpin, the new boss of the Hell's Kitchen underworld.
Things get even more complicated when the assassin reveals himself to be Owlman, a veteran mob hitman, targeting Karen as his new target.
Now Matt's battle as Daredevil becomes even harder. As it gets closer to home, Matt sees that what started with the Russians and Gladiator is just the beginning of something much bigger, that both he as a vigilante and as a lawyer are trapped in something he doesn't yet understand.
With a new uniform, Matt understands that he can't just be a vigilante, that's not what Hell's Kitchen needs, but rather a symbol.
