Danny Fenton (Tom Holland) was just a regular teenager with his sister Jazz (Lindsay Lohan) who's quirky and silly ghost hunting obsessed parents Jack (David Harbour) and Maddie Fenton (Jessica Chastain) believed in the paranormal and they've spent all their lives trying to prove their existence to the public by building a gateway portal linked between dimensions that'll lead them into a supernatural realm called the Ghost Zone home to an entire civilisation of ghosts until one day Danny enters the chamber and after turning it on and thinking he'll get into an accident but instead the machine grants him the power to transform at any moment into a ghost superhero that he now goes by the name of Danny Phantom.
