Synopsis

14 year old Danny Fenton has his life turned upside down after an accident in his parents ghost lab. After entering and acidently activating a portal to the Ghost Zone, Danny is bombarded with ghost energy and transformed into a half human half ghost. Now possessing the powers of a ghost, Danny must battle the malevolent ghosts of the Ghost Zone as the superhero Danny Phantom.

Sam is one of Danny's best friends. She is partly responsible for the accident that gave Danny his powers as she dared him to enter the ghost portal. Sam is often mistaken for Danny's girlfriend much to her and Danny's annoyance.
