Synopsis

A television miniseries adaptation of the classic DC comic event set within the Smallville universe. Set 20 years after the series finale, the story follows as Clark Kent must be convinced to step back into the role of Superman to face off against the immoral “heroes” Lex Luthor has unleashed on the world.

Description of Lex Luthor:

Finding his time as president unfulfilling, Luthor has now changed his interest to creating supermen, rather than stopping them. Through his O.M.A.C. program Luthor has created multiple next-gen heroes to replace the old retirees. However, his heroes aren’t as morally bound as their predecessors and are only beholden to one thing, Luthor’s will.
