Ironhide was left on the streets of Gygax, alone and orphaned. Until he was found by a local friendly wrestler and was taught under his wing. It turns out, Ironhide was only a child and he could throw Bulkhead like as if he was a softball! Ironhide began a wrestling career for 2 years, undefeated, but didn't want all the glory, so he decided to move to Iacon as a security guard at the stadium. He was only a guard for a week when Megatron randomly picked him just to kill for sport, having known about Ironhide's past career.
