6 months after the first film, the Rescue Rangers are alerted that Sweet Pete has escaped from prison. Now the Rangers (particularly Dale) will have to bring the show to life by solving the case of the escaped convict. Along the way, they encounter a new cartoon vigilante in town named The Green Crow (voiced by Keith David) as he too wants to put Sweet Pete behind bars for... personal reasons.
