Description of Mei Membrane (Invader Zim):
Mei is a 19 year old Chinese-american girl, who Professor Membrane adopt when she was 12, and she soon took an interest in Zim after seeing him at school. They became friends after he let her sit with him at lunch, but it backfired for him, because Mei refuses to let Dib and Zim try and kill each other. Mei's bio parents were abusive and neglectful, and caused her to have low self esteem and anxiety, as well as an eating disorder and occasional depression. when they were 14, Zim realized he was in love with Mei, and Mei reciprocated big time. they started dating, and later get married.
