Katie is a Navy flight officer (navigator) attached to the "Black Lions" of Fighter Squadron 213 (VF-213). She is Kotaro's best friend as the two initially met as enlisted aircraft mechanics throughout their service. The daughter (and only child) of an RCA Air Force major general, she sought to somewhat follow her father's footsteps. Upon graduation from University of Iroquois Chickasaw (B.S. Kinesiology) and commissioning through NROTC, she attended NFO training at NAB Pentecost, Florita, and graduated at the top of her class. She would then fly F-14's as a RIO. She is secretly in love with her favorite pilot Kotaro and would do anything to protect him and care for his well-being.
