Captain Emile Johansen is the Commanding Officer (CO) of the aircraft carrier RCAS Theodore Roseville (CVN-71). He hails from Taronto, La Canada, RCA. Prior to becoming a naval officer, he enlisted as a Sonar Technician and served aboard the cruiser RCAS Truxton (CGN-35), ranked Petty Officer 2nd Class (STG2). Upon earning his Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Engineering from Taronto Regional Unversity, he was commissioned through Navy ROTC and flew as an Anti-Submarine Warfare Officer/Copilot in the S-3 Viking and as an occasional F-14 RIO. Emile is also a graduate of the S-3 Weapons Tactics Instructor Course (DEADEYE) and the Joint Forces Fighter Weapons School (TOPSLING).
