Description of Trident Proficiency (Bident Aptitude, Expert Trident Wielder, Quindent Expertise, Trident Master):

Users, either innately or through training, is a master of wielding tridents, a pitchfork-like three-pronged spear used primarily for spear fishing and historically as a polearm. Tridents are also common imagery with many sea-based Gods in mythology due to its roots as a fishing tool, most notably Poseidon of Greek Mythology. Users of this ability not only can wield a Trident with tremendous skill and mastery, but usually possess great knowledge, understanding and affinity to it, allowing them to use it for any purpose with maximum efficiency and finesse. Though there are a few different types of tridents: including a bident (two prongs), trident (three prongs), and quindent (five prongs).
