Gilad Pellaeon was a naval officer who served in the Galactic Republic, Galactic Empire, Imperial Remnant, and the Galactic Alliance. Under the Empire, he was a captain and a subordinate of Thrawn. After the Empire's fall, he continued to serve Thrawn until the latter's death. He is named after Pelleas, a knight from Arthurian legend.
