Ethan Tremblay is one of the main protagonists of the psychological drama television series Sentimentality. In season 1-2, he's an 18-year-old new Canadian student in senior grade who starts out becoming isolated due to the school's deep-rooted issues with xenophobia, but he becomes a popular face there over time and even starts a three-way relationship with Alex and Peter that eventually turns violent due to Peter's instability, Alex's drug addiction and his own dependency issues. In season 3-4, he's a 22-year-old college student at Stanford University, trying to balance Olympic swimming championship training with his coach and his resurfaced relationship issues with Alex. In the fifth and final season, Ethan is now a 27-year-old gold medal Olympic swimmer with practically every great coach wanting to hire him as a client. He also simultaneously deals with relationship issues between his new fiancé Charlotte and his ex-boyfriend Alex.
