A hypothetical adaptation of the Stephen King novel, which would follow the book more closely than previous versions. The story follows Carrie White, a teenager with telekinetic powers who’s abused at home and bullied at school, and finally snaps in a horrific way when she’s humiliated at the prom.
This version I have in mind would retain plot elements from the book more so than the film versions we have now, including the the memoir Sue Snell writes and the scene between Carrie and Sue at the end.read more

Description of Mrs. Horan:
Estelle’s mother appears in the book and is shown to openly despised Margaret for slut-shaming her daughter, while feeling great sympathy for the young Carrie. She would encourage Estelle to sunbathe in a bikini just to piss off Margaret, and was there to witness Carrie’s powers awaken.
