A hypothetical adaptation of the Stephen King novel, which would follow the book more closely than previous versions. The story follows Carrie White, a teenager with telekinetic powers who’s abused at home and bullied at school, and finally snaps in a horrific way when she’s humiliated at the prom. This version I have in mind would retain plot elements from the book more so than the film versions we have now, including the the memoir Sue Snell writes and the scene between Carrie and Sue at the end.read more

Description of Carrie White:

In the book, Carrie is described as plus-sized and having lots of acne. I don’t think Carrie necessarily has to be plus-sized, but I think it would be nice since we haven’t seen that yet, so I’ve made a lot of suggestions for the part. But feel free to suggest whomever you think would play her well!
