Synopsis

On June 2019 a ship bearing 42 migrants called Sea Watch 3 and led by German Captain Carola Rackete was stopped near the Italian coast, after refusing asylum from Libya. Italian Minister of Interior Matteo Salvini, known for his anti-immigration stances, was firmly contrary. When the ship docked, as requested by Human Right Associations, Rackete was arrested and judged with a trial. She won the cause, and later sued Salvini himself for defamation. This is supposed to be a Rai series. I have to admit that I haven't watched many and that I didn't like the ones I watched, but perhaps this could be better than the average.

Description of Matteo Salvini (Italian Minister of Interior):

The Italian then-Minister of Interior and Vice President (besides Di Maio) from "Lega" party, better known for its anti-immigrant and anti-Southern Italian views, who was against the docking of the Sea Watch 3. He was later sued with the allegations of defamation towards Rackete.
