Synopsis

Our world is in peril! Gaia - the primordial spirit of the Earth, can no longer stand the destruction plaguing our planet. She sends five magic rings to five special young people. When the five powers combine, they summon Earth's greatest champion - Captain Planet!

Silvestre Barros is the commander of a band of mercenaries known as the Mudmen. He has grown wealthy and powerful by selling his services to conflict areas and using this as a cover to extract mystical relics and obtain esoteric knowledge, often by force. (NO DANNY DEVITO!)
