In 1943, the World War II advances to a critical level, and the young Steve Rogers, a thin and fragile but very altruistic soldier gets recruited to be the test subject on the Super Soldier Project created by Doctor. Abraham Erskine. After the experiment, Steve's physical capabilities increased beyond human limits, and to fight in the war he received a Vibramuim shield created by Howard Stark, thus becoming the patriotic hero and national symbol that protects the United States, being named Captain America. During the war, he was alongside his companions, facing the German army, which is commanded by the Nazi military leader, and leader of the HYDRA organization, Johan Schmidt, the Red Skull.
