After decades after World War II, Steve Rogers struggles to adjust to a modern world filled with new challenges and blurred moral lines. Joining forces with Falcon, Black Widow, and Hawkeye, Steve races to stop Hydra’s global assault while clashing with the government’s chosen replacement, John Walker, a “new Captain America” whose brutal methods threaten everything Steve stands for. In the end, Steve must decide if he can still lead in a world that has moved on or if it’s time to redefine what Captain America means.
