James "Jimmy" Hopkins is a 14-year-old teenager with an aggressive temper and who after being expelled from seven schools for inappropriate behavior, ended up being sent by his mother and stepfather to an independent boarding school called "Bullworth Academy", where this time theoretically, he would undergo changes in attitude and discipline. But what Jimmy did not expect, was the fact that this new boarding school was totally different and that what he would come to learn there, no other school could teach him.
