The story begins with Arthur Bremer (Ben Hardy), from 1963 of the assassination of John F. Kennedy in November 22, 1963 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to the attempt assassination of Alabama Governor George Wallace in May 15, 1972 in Laurel, Maryland. Bremer was found guilty and sentenced to 63 years (53 years after an appeal) in a Maryland prison for the shooting of Wallace and three bystanders.
