On a manned mission to find any life in the solar system after Earth has been wiped out from a series of catalytic events (natural disasters and nuclear holocaust), exterminating what's left of the human race. Suddenly, a massive dot appears on the ship's radar as the group discovers a planet twice the size of Earth with hope of exploring any substances or lifeforms capable of co-existence. The arrival goes well until the ship begins to malfunction and crash lands on an island, critically destroying the ship. As the eight visitors head out for a quick tour around the new planet, they are being followed by a group of creatures that have walked among the planet for an infinite period of time. It's not until two of the travelers come across a variety of spacecraft that have also crashed on this planet, leading the group to understand the truth behind their mission and why they left their home planet behind. MPAA: Rated R for bloody violence/gore including disturbing images and strong language.
