In reality Michael Carter is an underappreciated security guard at the museum of Superheroes in the far future. After commandeering a supersuit he goes back in time on a mission to prevent a global catastrophe and make a name for himself at the same time. He gives off a naive and cocky persona but in reality he cares and genuinely wants to prevent the damage he knows will happen in the future.
