Elwood Blues arrives back in the Joliet Correctional Center expecting to pick up his brother Jake, but he was informed that his brother had passed away unexpectedly. Elwood was so devastated, he tried to give up on life until he sees the light, Now Elwood recruits Mighty Mack, Jake's brother Zee, and a new generation of players on this emotional musical journey to raise awareness for the legacy of the late great Joliet Jake Blues. What follows is more police force and insane people chasing them, great musical numbers, and alot of comedy that doesn't rehash the original film
