Batman Cinematic Universe, Phase 1, Film 8
Eighth film in my Batman, Green Arrow, and Blue Beetle cinematic universe. An alien scarab attaches itself to Jaime Reyes after escaping from Kord Industries during a bombing. The bombing also caused Nathan Finch, one of Kord Industries’ board members, to lose his arm, so he creates a mechanical arm that gives him the ability to control technology. Meanwhile, Ted Kord trains Jaime to become his successor as the new Blue Beetle, and Jaime is forced to take down Finch after he goes mad. Basically, think Venom (2018) meets Ant-Man (2015) with all the problems that come with being a teenage superhero.
