Synopsis

Saya Otonashi, a seemingly normal high school student, suffers from amnesia and she can’t remember the past year of her life. One day, after a man appears and gives her a katana sword, her destiny begins to be revealed. Soon she finds herself fighting the latest threat to humanity – Chiropterans. Vampire like creatures that can change their form, disguising themselves as human beings. They feed off blood and hide themselves within the human world. An organization known as the Red Shield has been waging a private war to wipe them out and now the struggle has grown. Saya’s journey for the truth has begun.

Description of Saya Otonashi:

Saya is an average high school girl living in Okinawa who was adopted a year ago by George Miyagusuku. It is then revealed that she was actually the secret weapon of an organization called the Red Shield in their quest to eliminate the Chiropterans, but only Saya can kill those creatures. After her father's death, she learns that her true purpose is to kill the chiroprerans, but she's still not remember anything about her past as her Chevalier, Haji, tells her that she must remember on her own.

    • theonewithda_gun   1. Saya in live action isn't all that girly. Although she did have somewhat of a girlish side, she's somewhat of a tomboy in live action, as seen by her short haircut and prefers clothes that are easy to move in

    • theonewithda_gun   2. Saya is multilingual, being able to speak fluent japanese and fluent english. She did sorta speak some Okinawan Japanese, George teaches her to do so. But Saya sometimes doesn't understand japanese or even speaks in broken japanese. This is because she wasn't born in japan in the first place, she mostly speaks english during 19th Century. When George found her and adopt her into his family, he teaches her to speak english and japanese. She learned english so quickly and thus fluent in the language. She had a bit of a hard time when learning japanese. She's actually fluent, but is often a bit shy when speaking japanese until Kai and George encourages her. She mostly speaks english when interacting with certain characters like Haji, David, Lewis etc. even with George and Kai. But she also sometimes speaks japanese when interacting with Haji, Riku, Kaori, Mao, Okamura and other characters who speak the language.
