During the summer of 1931, a monstrous storm hits a small town in Wyoming. This storm was a cover for Martians to pass through the lightning, into their hidden Tripods they've buried underground millions of years ago. A young teen Ryan is one of the only survivors of the following attack, he eagerly searches for his family, who he lost contact with during the storm. It takes him 1 year to eventually find them. Having to go through the fall, winter, and spring. All the while being hunted down by these Tripods.read more

Description of Officer Tanner (Town Deputy):
Deputy Tanner is always the butt of the joke for the whole town. During the attack he makes a noble effort to help Ryan escape from the town, whilst he's successful in helping Ryan, he's not able to save himself, as he gets zapped by a Tripod.
