Synopsis

Wakanda faces a critical moment as King T'Chaka continues to rule, but his son, T'Challa, is ready to take on more responsibility. While Wakanda remains hidden, its vibranium and advanced technology draw attention. T'Challa struggles with his father's isolationist policies versus his desire to engage with the world. Peace is shattered when Erik Killmonger, T'Challa’s estranged cousin, arrives. Having witnessed global oppression, Killmonger believes Wakanda should arm the oppressed and start a revolution. He challenges T'Chaka for the throne, accusing Wakanda of betraying its power by staying silent in the face of suffering. T'Challa is torn between loyalty to his father and Killmonger’s vision for a proactive Wakanda. As tensions rise, T'Chaka defends Wakanda’s isolation, but T'Challa begins to see merit in Killmonger’s arguments. When Killmonger challenges T'Chaka in ritual combat, T'Challa steps in to defend his father and the traditions of Wakanda. In the final battle, T'Challa defeats Killmonger, but his cousin’s dying words about global suffering deeply affect him. Post Credits: T'Challa convinces T'Chaka to open Wakanda’s borders, signaling their new role in the world.
