Synopsis

Queen Ramonda, Shuri, Jakarra, M'Baku, Okoye and the Dora Milaje fight to protect the kingdom of Wakanda from intervening world powers in the wake of the retiring of King T'Challa. As the Wakandans strive to embrace their next chapter, the heroes must band together with the help of War Dog Nakia and Everett Ross and forge a new path for their nation after discovering an underwater civilization.

Description of Jakarra Toussaint (Black Panther #2):

Jakarra Toussaint is the best friend of Princess Shuri of Wakanda. One year after T'Challa's retirement, and one week after the queen's death, he takes his place and becomes the new Black Panther, defeating Namor in combat and forming an alliance with Talokan against the rest of the world.
