The next scene cuts to T'Challa again in front of the UN, now accompanied by Okoye and some of the Dora Milaje around him, as he prepares to say a few words before the leaders of other nations present. - Distinguished leaders and citizens of the world, it is with great honor that I speak again before all of you. I am not here merely to repeat what I have said before. As the leader of my people, I am here present to echo the belief of a man who believes that, as peoples, there are moments when we can and must seize the opportunity to redirect the course of our history. For many years, Wakanda chose silence and discretion, believing that our isolation was the key to preserving our culture and resources. But what greater irony than remembering ourselves that what we wanted to preserve was in itself the result of our ancestors putting aside their differences for the sake of the future?; I, T'Challa, son of T'Chaka, son of T'Chanda, say that the time has come to no longer hide from our own light. Wakanda is ready to join the rest of the world, not as a separate nation, but as a partner. We want to build a future where our riches are not exploited, but shared. That we are a bridge, not a wall. Where trust can replace greed, where mutual aid replaces exploitation. The Wakanda that I present to the world is not the Wakanda of old. It is a nation that is now ready to build a shared future.
