Dinah Lance, daughter of Dinah Drake, the first Black Canary, inherited her mother's meta-human abilities. She didn't have what you'd call a normal youth, not that she's complaining about it. After her mother's death, Dinah sets out for revenge, alongside Ted Grant, the Wildcat, who taught her to fight. Taking on the mantle of Black Canary, she takes to the streets acting as a vigilante, searching for clues about who killed her mother. The search leads her to Gotham, in a confrontation with Batman. And then, against Ted's advice, to an underground fighting tournament on the city's border, where she faces assassins, vigilantes, and one of the world's deadliest assassins. Will Dinah be able to get out of this alive and find answers about her mother's death?
