Description of Maple Batalia:
Born near Mumbai, 19-year-old Maple Batalia was an aspiring actress and attending Simon Fraser University in Surrey (B.C. Canada) when she was shot and killed as she walked to her car in the parkade at SFU Surrey Campus. She had previously graduated from Enver Creek Secondary and was hoping to be a doctor. A documentary, named "Maple", was made shortly after which followed the events before and after her death.
