So I've happened upon a few images of Billy turning into Carol Danvers. ... ... ... Okay, Internet. I'll play your game, you rogue. Normally I'd draw out something myself, but I'm not THAT into it and where's the time go? So I'll do my very first comic cover Photoshop! There's a few out there already, but just about all of them use Ms. Marvel. Billy's not Ms. Marvel. He's CAPTAIN Marvel! Gotta say, though, I can see why. There's just not much to work with in terms of imagery. I had to cheat a bit with this image - flipping Carol to work with the composition. I wish I could have found one of her scowling like CM in the original, but no dice. The quality was also terrible, but what the Hell? It's just a cover shop. Getting the right pose with the right perspective was the most important part. It all looks pretty decent unless you zoom in. Anyway, after finding the right image I had to adjust the colors on both covers to match well in order to have Carol not seem TOO out of place. Even though she still does. Erasing the big red cheese was a lot easier than I thought; only a tiny bit of him remained on the cover (I still wasn't 100% sure I wouldn't use Ms Marvel).
