The show takes place ten years after the main events of the books and the 1998 cartoon. The series follows the Little Monsters, who are all now teenagers and now in high school. Despite being teenagers, they still act and have their own unique, entertaining flaws. However, being teenagers means that they have to deal with the various issues and the situations that occur during their teenhood and high school years. Every episode of the show follows one of the cast (as the protagonists vary each episode) dealing with a problem or issue.
