Kylie Rose Graham is a quiet yet perceptive 5 ½-year-old whose world was shattered by the loss of her older brother, Benjamin. Once full of laughter and boundless curiosity, Kylie now moves through life with a quiet, haunted intensity, clinging to the remnants of her brother’s memory. She keeps Benjamin’s favorite stuffed rabbit close, whispering secrets to it as if her brother might still be listening. The eerie disturbances in the house do not scare her—instead, she welcomes them, believing that Benjamin is still near, watching over her. Unlike the adults who cower at the supernatural events, Kylie speaks to the shadows, her soft voice carrying through the darkness, asking Benjamin if he’s okay. Though young, Kylie understands more than she lets on, her innocent heart carrying the weight of a tragedy she can’t yet fully grasp. Is she just coping, or does Benjamin truly answer her whispers?
