Cyclone, AKA Maxine Hunkel, is a granddaughter of the first Red Tornado (Ma Hunkel). As a young child, Maxine was once abducted by the same mad scientist who designed 'Project: Red Tornado', he attempted to make her a superpowered being at his command by injecting the Red Tornado’s technology nanobits onto Maxine, but it doesn’t affect her. However the nanobit effect took years to turn Maxine into a wind controlling superheroine during her college years. She is an intelligent young lady with the ability to manipulate wind and techonology skills, which gave her the rank to join the Justice League.
