Dr. Animo is a former Plumber scientist who was discharged for conducting crazed experiments on aliens by forcibly fusing them together and using his coworkers as unwitting test subjects (a possible connection to the Plumbers’ Helpers). Frustrated at the Plumbers for not understanding his genius mind, Animo decided to experiment on animals instead.
