Synopsis

Set against the backdrop of 1920s and 1930s Hollywood, the series explores Louella's early years as a struggling reporter in New York, her meteoric rise to the top of Hollywood's social pyramid, and the shocking scandals she both uncovered and orchestrated. William Clark Gable was an American film actor. Often referred to as the "King of Hollywood," he had roles in more than 60 films in a variety of genres during a career that lasted 37 years, three decades of which were as a leading man. The American Film Institute named him the seventh greatest male movie star of classic American cinema.
