After 2 years fighting crime in Gotham, Batman has transformed into an urban legend who terrifies criminals. An old brutal Gotham crimefighter called the Reaper has returned to the city and is leaving a trail of dead bodies behind him. When Batman realizes how much of a threat to Gotham he is, both of them must compete for their idea of how to protect the city.
