Synopsis

Batman is carrying on with his endless war against crime. Everything seems to occur as usual, until a new vigiante called the Red Hood comes to Gotham, and seems that both of them have something in common.

Description of Tarantula (minor role) (Catalina Flores):

She is Dick's rapist and the abusive mother of his child. During her time as Dick’s mentee, she murders his rival Blockbuster, takes advantage of him and rapes him while he’s traumatized, and tries to kill her infant daughter for taking away Dick’s attention before being stopped by Shawn Tsang. As a result, she becomes one of Red Hood's murder victims during his control over Crime Alley, ensuring both Dick and his baby daughter’s freedom from her abuse.

  • dafilmqueen If you think about it, it makes sense. She took advantage of Nightwing while he was in a vulnerable mental state, just like Jason was lured into a false sense of security by Sheila, something he wouldn’t take kindly to. Plus, it works thematically, with Jason avenging Dick the way Bruce never did for him. Like killing abusers is his love language, and he especially hates rapists, so it works out well for an outstanding career as a vigilante crime lord..
