Synopsis

Bruce Wayne, after escaping the clutches of Hugo Strange and Thomas Elliott/Hush in Arkham Asylum, now must prepare for the fight of his life, as Deathstroke, the Scarecrow, the Joker, Harley Quinn, the Riddler, Two-Face, and Bane have all brought themselves together to acheive one goal: kill the Batman. Having received much physical and emotional wounds from many of his villains in the past, Batman prepares to make a sacrifice for his life to not only prevent himself from going down the path his father did in the Flashpoint timeline, but to ensure his friends and loved ones are safe and live wonderful lives in his absence.

Description of "The Brother" (Post-Credits Scene):

In the end, Bruce Wayne actually survived the explosion of the massive nuclear bomb with only Dick Grayson, Selina Kyle, Barbara Gordon, and Alfred Pennyworth knowing, as he retired from his role as Batman to live a peaceful life with Selina elsewhere, with Dick eventually becoming Nightwing three years after Bruce's "death". However, one day, thirteen years later, Bruce would hear the doorbell to his and Selina's house ring, and greeted the figure at the door, only to see a familiar face in front of him. The man would then say, "Hello, Bruce... It's been a while." Thus ending one phase of the saga and teasing the beginning of another.
