Slade had seen Ras as a father. He’d seen the League as his family. In one moment that had all been taken from him. When an important challenge had been presented during their training Bruce had won. He remembered the look of disdain that Ras had for him. Slade saw the admiration Ras had for Bruce, Slade had been replaced. When Bruce and the others were making their getaway he thought it would play in his favor as he attempted to hunt them. Instead they had succeeded and he had been banished from his home. But Slade discovered a secret, one he planned to exploit when the time was right and he’d have his revenge.
